A Day at Upstart

Each day we would meet at Heritage Elementary in St. George, Utah. We would load up our work vehicles with equipment we needed and then we would drive to our location for the day. We covered the Southern Utah area, so we held events in St. George, Cedar City, Beaver, Milford, Richfield, Loa, Junction, Kanab, Tropic, and Panguitch. When we arrived at our location, we unloaded, and started setting up. We set up a computer room where the children would take a test. In another room we held a training, or a graduation. My job was to help out where it was needed, and to also check people in when they arrived. I input data into a computer and marked people as attended on the Upstart information website. I assigned people equipment as it was needed, and assisted the children that were taking the test. At the end of each day we ran reports to make sure we did everything correct. We would clean up, drive home, and unload everything at Heritage Elementary, and prepare for the next day.
